As a parent leader, there are so many things we have to decide every day. Some are big, like deciding where to live. We need to choose where our kids will go to school. Then there are the little things each day. What are the kids going to have for breakfast? Then deciding how to get the Cheerios off the ceiling and not even asking how they got there. We decide what to wear or how to take on the tasks of the day. We make the decision not to lose our cool when we answer the same question for the fifth time today. Maybe, we decide to freak out a little bit after the sixth time for that question, be we do it in our bedroom. HA! 

Sometimes it is the small decisions, or sometimes it is the big ones. We never know which decisions are the ones that might lead us to greatness within our families. When you understand the power of decisions, you need a vision of what you are working toward. Decisions are what truly give us freedom: the freedom to choose and the freedom to become. There is power in what you decide every day when you decide to get your family to what you see as a successful family.
